Process Purchase Orders
After purchase orders have been imported from True Commerce, you need to process them to convert them to Sales Orders.
- Use the Data Filter to select the range of filtering options or leave the filter blank to include all available data.
- Click Apply Filter to display the detailed list of purchase orders that meet your selected criteria.
- Select the purchase orders you wish to work with next by clicking the check box in the first column of the grid. Use the Validate button to check your purchase orders before writing (i.e., processing) them.
- Use the Location ID, Ship Method, and/or Batch Code fields to populate the selected purchase order(s) with the selected field and value when you click Write. For example, if you want the Location ID MN0001 to populate into purchase orders, select MN0001 in the Location ID field, select the purchase orders, then click Write.

Write | Process the selected purchase order(s) into a sales order. An EDI Sales Order Creation Log is generated accordingly. |
Activity | Display the Activity Log to view processing activity. |
Reset | Set all fields to their default values. |
Validate | Review the selected purchase order(s) before processing to identify conflicts or discrepancies. An EDI Purchase Order Validation report is generated accordingly. |
Report | To enable the report options (print, output, preview, and reset) for the selected purchase order(s). |
Delete | Delete the selected Sales Orders. |
After purchase orders are processed, they will be available in Traverse Global Sales Orders > Transactions > Orders .
